Glam Boudoir Photo Shoot Style Ideas
One of the most empowering things about having a boudoir session is that you are giving yourself permission to fully express and embrace your sexuality, which is something that most women have been discouraged from doing their entire lives…until now! Whether your inner Sex Goddess prefers to lounge on a bed of pillows or play with a paddle and handcuffs, The Adore Girls’ mission is to help you do YOU!
In this blog, we are going to give you some examples and ideas for a “glam” boudoir photo shoot! Of all the various boudoir styles, glam is probably considered to be the most standard for boudoir photography. That is because the styling and posing are…well…more glamorous than a “casual” boudoir session, but not quite as provocative as an “edgy” boudoir session.
Glam Boudoir Wardrobe Ideas
In terms of wardrobe styling for a glam boudoir shoot, the more luxurious and feminine the lingerie, the better! Pretty bra & panty sets with matching garter belts and stockings are an extremely popular wardrobe choice, as are lace teddies, silk nighties, and even long skirts or gowns. Darlin’ in Nashville is a local lingerie boutique that sells beautiful, romantic pieces from harder-to-find brands, like Dora Larsen, Only Hearts, and Else, as well as size-inclusive brands like Thistle and Spire, Kilo Brava and Playful Promises. You can also find tons of glamorous lingerie options online from websites like Adore Me, Torrid, Agent Provocateur, and Savage X Fenty, just to name a few.
Of course, adding some elegant accessories, like a string of pearls or a special pair earrings, will make any boudoir outfit look more glam, be it a casual button-up shirt or even an edgier, strappy, leather bodysuit! Our white and gray Angel Wings are also very popular add-on options for glam boudoir sessions.
Glam Boudoir Posing Examples
With glam boudoir, the poses tend to focus on showing off a woman’s gorgeous figure by elongating her body and/or exaggerating her curves. For this reason, her back is almost always arched (even while sitting), the toes are always pointed, and the booty is often “popped.” The poses themselves can fall pretty much anywhere within the “sexy spectrum” of boudoir poses, depending on the client’s comfort level.
We hope that these examples of glam boudoir photography poses and wardrobe suggestions have given you some ideas for your own boudoir photo shoot! Just remember that you are by no means limited to choosing only one particular style for your boudoir session. If you’d like to have one boudoir set photographed in a “glam” style and another boudoir set photographed in a completely different style, so be it! We just want you to have fun and feel good about expressing yourself in whichever way you and your inner Sex Goddess see fit. ;)
We can’t wait for you to become an Adore Girl!
