3 Facts About Our Nashville Boudoir Sessions
It is quite common for our first-time boudoir clients to tell us that some aspects of their boudoir experiences were a little bit different from what they had expected prior to having the session. Today, The Adore Girls’ all-female photography team are going to share three lesser-known facts about our boudoir photography sessions that many of our past clients told us they were surprised to learn.
Boudoir Fact #1:
Your Nerves Will Go Away Faster Than You Expect!

We expect every single woman who walks through our studio doors to be at least a little bit nervous about her boudoir session. After all, it is not every day that a woman chooses to have photos taken of herself wearing little to no clothing! Some women are worried about feeling awkward in front of their photographer, others are afraid that they won’t be able to “look sexy” in their photos, and many women have at least some level of anxiety related to body image. These are all completely normal concerns to have prior to experiencing a boudoir photo shoot, but the overwhelming majority of our clients have later told us that most of their nerves dissipated shortly after arriving and meeting our team, and then completely melted away after having their first few photographs taken.
We also have a little mantra for our clients who are experiencing pre-photo shoot jitters, which is, “Trust. Your. Your Photos Will Be Sexy! The Process…Not So Much.

Many years ago, only minutes into her first-ever boudoir session, we had a very excited Adore Girl exclaim, “Wow…this isn’t sexy at all. This is fun!” That comment has remained one of our all-time faves because we feel it perfectly summarizes what a boudoir session with The Adore Girls is really like!
When you look through our Gallery of gorgeous boudoir photographs, you could easily presume that a professional photo shoot is a serious event, and that all of our clients must have somehow been in a very sensual type of mood during their photos shoots, right? I mean, how else could we have captured such sexy, intimate portraits of these women?
Well, not to burst anyone’s bubble, but the actual process of getting into some of these alluring and seductive poses is the complete opposite of sexy, and the only “mood” that is created during a photo session is one of pure excitement and FUN! This is because, even though we take our jobs as professional boudoir photographers very seriously, we also cannot hide the fact that we absolutely LOVE what we do, and we have fun while doing it! (We’ve also been told that our enthusiasm is rather infectious!) So, during a typical photo shoot at our studio, you can expect to hear some good music pumping in the background, lots of laughter, and your photographer randomly shouting things like, “OMG! You look SO HOT right now!”
As for the posing process itself, some of our poses are based on very natural body positions that are quite easy to achieve. However, some of our more provocative poses are not exactly “normal” positions that one would get into on a regular basis, and, therefore, can be a bit more challenging. In fact, some of our past clients have told us they were surprised to be a little bit sore the next day, especially in the lower back area, but all of them agreed that it was 100% worth it once they saw their amazing boudoir photos!

You Are Going to Love a LOT More of Your Photos Than You Think!

Whenever a potential client inquires about our pricing and we let her know that there is a ten-image minimum for Digital Image purchases, we are then sometimes asked, “But what if I like fewer than ten of my photos?” It’s not a question that we take personally, mind you. We’ve heard from SO MANY women over the years that, prior to their boudoir experiences, they never really liked any photos of themselves. Therefore, whenever a woman expresses concern about potentially liking less than ten of her boudoir images, we understand that her concern is based on her own past photography experiences, and she probably assumes that all photo shoots are alike.
The fact of the matter is that, in ten years of business, we have NEVER had a single client struggle to come up with only ten images that she liked from her boudoir session. In fact, the majority of our clients usually end up purchasing their entire gallery of boudoir photos because they simply cannot part with any of them!
