5 TIPS FOR THE PERFECT
BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE.
Make sure you do NOT skip these 5 very important details when you are planning your boudoir session whether you are booking here at The Adore Girls or with another studio.
1. Don’t skip the phone consultation.
Do not skip scheduling a consultation call when you are wanting to book a boudoir session or if the studio sends out a guide, take the time to read all the information. Taking the time to talk to the studios you are considering ensures you all the details you truly need for an awesome boudoir experience. This also gives you the opportunity to ask questions and make sure you and the studio are the right fit. Yes, making sure you vibe with the photography studio you choose is very important for your overall experience!
2. Read the online reviews.
No photographer is going to put up bad reviews on their own website. For ALL the reviews - the good and the bad - head over to google and search for their reviews. You will read about real client experiences and this will also help you understand what to expect from the boudoir studio you are considering booking. You may consider this step 1 before you even schedule your phone consultation.
3. Be financially prepared.
Luxury boudoir is an investment. It’s an investment in you, your confidence and self-love along with gorgeous high quality Images and Artwork. Over the course of a decade, we have seen time and time again, women expecting to only like a few of their images only to get to the Debut and fall in love with ALL of their final images. So you might assume you won't like very many of your pictures and you may plan to only buy the minimum order but keep in mind you will most likely like way more than you think. 99% of our clients purchase all of their images plus an album and some even add wall art and most of those clients didn't expect to like every single image in their gallery. You want to ask your photographer what her average client spends so you are prepared to buy more than you might expect. #nojoke
4. Try on ALL of your wardrobe.
You want to make sure all of your wardrobe fits properly, you are comfortable and can move in it BEFORE your session day. We recommend taking yourself shopping and trying on pieces that may be outside of your comfort zone or that you have never tried before. You may try it on and actually love it!! This can go the other way as well. You may think you will like a certain cut or style of lingerie and get it on and not like it at all. Here at The Adore Girls, all of our clients receive access to our prepping guides after booking which includes a wardrobe inspiration guide and a list of places to shop!
5. Don’t wait too long to book your session.
If you are making a gift for your significant other and need your order back by a specific timeframe, you want to make sure you schedule your appointment with enough time for your printed gift to come back from production. For our studio we recommend having your session 8 weeks prior to when you need your product back in time. If you are only buying digital images you only need 14 days max, but we are consistently booked out in advance, especially if you need a weekend date.
